We offer a comprehensive project management service to our customers.
For journals, we can handle the entire job, including:
- use of Web-based submissions systems, such as Manuscript Central or Editorial Manager
- peer review
- checking of files into production
- checking copyright transfer material
- liaison with authors, academic editors, copy editors, indexers, typesetters and printers
- collation of author and editor corrections
- issue make-up and checking of final output including SGML/XML
- coverproof creation
- offprint ordering.
We are happy to control the entire process, acting as the journal manager of your own team. We currently perform this type of service for four journals we handle for Cambridge University Press.
We provide a similar service for books and conference proceedings, liaising with authors, editors and printers, to ensure that schedules are met throughout the workflow and that quality standards are maintained. We currently provide this kind of service for John Wiley & Sons, Risk Books and WIT Press.
